Crop image. It can't be this hard
I open a picture in PS. It has some jagged edges and a whitish band across the bottom. I select the crop tool and scribe around the part I want to keep. I hit the crop tool again or pick crop from the menu. The visual looks like the crop worked.
Next I set the canvas area bigger so I can add a border around the picture.
When the canvas size increases, the ugly bits that I cropped off are back again.
Re: Crop image. It can't be this hard
I think this is due to when cropping you have not selected the option to Delete Cropped Pixels. Without selecting the delete option the cropped areas are merely hidden
