Photoshop/Lightroom Tech Question

A while back I installed CS6 on a newly formatted hard drive along with all my other programs including LR 5. In doing so LR chose a different program as the default program than Photoshop to edit in. Eventually I was able to figure out how to switch this back to CS6. But now the behavior does not bring Photoshop to the foreground when I choose to "Edit In" from Lightroom. Now, I have to select Photoshop. The issue is really not the extra click to activate Photoshop, it is more I am not sure it has loaded the file and I may wait for a period of time.

Anyone have any experience with this and how to correct this behavior?

TIA-

Doug

I have this too. I'm on a Mac running Mavericks, FWIW. I agree, it's annoying.

Re: Photoshop/Lightroom Tech Question

Yes, it's an old issue. You'll have to reinstall both app's in the correct order to get the 'link' back. Photoshop first, then LR which should then detect Photoshop.
