Merge channel action

Hi all,
I have been trying to create an action for swapping channels. I am able to record "split channels", but when I merge channels it does not record. No amount of talking or pleading with the program seems to help
I'm using Photoshop 6.01...thanks for any help.

Randy - is the channel mixer not suitable, it is quick and non destructive?

One can write the action to place a channel mixer adjustment layer with the appropriate channel swap, RGB > GRB for one action, etc.

Hi Randy - Glad it worked, it is a bit easier than split/merge channels. <g> One could also use a duped image and the Apply Image command - as calculations/apply image/channel mixer are all kindred spirits.

More on these topics can be found here:

For an G R E A T action that deals with channels...

Action: Split Channels
