create action to produce a banner ...

Hi,

I am trying to write an action to add my logo to a bunch of images. I have watched the russell brown video but i am not sure it applies. Maybe you can help?

I want to add thin strip (banner) of white across the entire image then within the banner add text (my studios name). I then want to run this as an action on other images.

So far i have managed to do this using the marquee tool to create the banner then i have filled the banner and made it 50% opaque. I then add text and align the text with in the banner. All seems well

However when i run this action on other images of "nearly" the same size either the banner does not stretch across the image completely (different width) or the text within the banner is not aligned in the center of the banner (different height). Now I know why this is happening but i do not know how to solve this problem.

Can anyone help me?

Hi Andy!

I had written this action a while ago for a friend who wished an action to create banners as 'flexible' as possible.

My action is interactive and allows to decide or change about anything in the Banner creation ....

If you decide to try it could you, please let me know if it worked for you?

P.S. I wrote it with PS CS4
