I am not sure if it is possible with your current set up but would like to be able to pay and catch up on some of the old broadcast (ie kelby training, lynda.com type videos) when my schedule would allow. This is a great site and am learning a lot! Thanks for your work.

Hi Doug,

I would love to see someone do a full length portrait at some point. So something that involves improving backgrounds too and perhaps some figure restructuring.

I also wouldn't mind seeing someone do a composite image of some kind ie. taking two images and combining them in some way . I believe some retouching jobs might involve this sort of work.

I would like to give a few suggestions who I think would make a good draw.

For beauty I highly suggest Natalia Taffarel. She has her DVD coming out and if she had a live show I'm sure it would help boost her sales.

If you can get him, and if he plans to share his techniques, I would contact the highly critical ANT. It should make for good entertainment.

Lastly, for a specific "style", how about contacting Joey Lawrence.

I tend to do a lot of real estate retouching: heavily mixed light sources, 15 stops of difference between shadows and highlights, lens distortion, reflections. This stuff makes my brain hurt. I don't know who to suggest as a presenter but there have got to be a pile of people that have these issues too.

I would like to see something with Conrad Rotondella.... I saw an article on how he retouches in the Dec. 08 issue of PDN. But by reading his contact info it looks like he might be opposed to sharing things, but maybe that's just to discourage getting blasted with emails from random people who are just opening photoshop for the first time. Anyway, can't hurt.

I second the idea of Conrad (he posted here occasionally under the tag of Heyrad). He was one of the instigators of Image Mavericks.com, and did some great tutorial stuff there.

Unfortunately, Image Mavericks went defunct - never recovered from a forum crash. The tutorials were awesome. One forum series, devoted to retouching a fashion shot, was as close to one-on-one instruction as you can get on the web. Sadly the site went kaput right in the middle of that series.
