Is there any way to offer it with no set start time? I've been dying to catch Chris at work, but I'm usually busy during the broadcast and rebroadcasts. I'd happily pay for it, but appreciate the flexibility of viewing it on my own time.

I believe I read that this option is not available at the price point being offered. Meaning they could look into a service like that, but it would not be at $10 a pop. It would have to be much more expensive. So sadly GoToMyMeeting is how we have to do these things for now.

This is great but a video replay would be better. I generally have a very difficult time arranging to meet your days and hours. A taped replay (rebroadcast) would garner many more of us.

Hey, I just signed up for the re-broadcast of Chris Tarantino and had a look at his site and was quite impressed with his clean work. I personally shoot mostly architecture, but am always looking for new ways to retouch better. I wanted to know how to get to the event registration page now since I made the mistake not to go back to merchant when I payed with my pay pal account. I did get an e-mail confirming my payment, but I have no idea how to view this presentation. I live in LA, so I do know that it will be showing at 12:00. Any help would be most appreciated. I am looking forward to learning some great new techniques.

hey stephen. You'll get an email with a link to the webinar before it goes live. Don't worry. Also, make sure you use Safari or Firefox 2 if you're on a Mac. Firefox 3 didn't work for me the other day.

What is the Big deal with Recording the session and offer it to people to Buy for the Fee that way they can view when and how they want..
This is such a simple solution that I do not understand why it is not an option to begin with?
If you have obviuosly recorded it and rebroadcasting it what is the problem. Plus a lot of people may have Desktop Recording programs and do it themselves anyways..
Just food for thought but you would elminate the problem of many people all over the world wanting to view it.

@snook. They have said that they don't want this content to be a replacement for a retouch dvd (obviously this would be competing with the DVD that chris is going to be releasing before the end of the year) This is meant to be a kind of "class" of sorts where you get to go to said class and take notes/follow along. At the end you can even ask questions. Then after that the class will be aired a few more times and then I guess its gone forever. Who knows? Anyway for the price you really can't beat what's being offered. Though yes I agree it would be most ideal if you could jsut download a video of it... however if that's your kind of thing you may want to hold out for the DVD later this year. I don't know the price yet, but I doubt it will be $5 per hour of footage.

Hey Sky Dog, how are you.. Just wanted a change and liked this image. Most people get all roused up over anything I post so I am convicted without a trial... Hint the guy behind bars...:+}
And Your favorite I understood all that but a lot of people may not be able to follow a long with the paces of some retocuhers. I shoot for a living and retocuh most of my stuff and enjoy watching or seeing other ways of skinning a cat as it is not very often you can watch exactly how people work. I am not persoanlly trying to learn anything but maybe different workflows myself and or shorter ways of doing things.
I never personally use Blur of any kind but lately I have been accepting projects that are more commercial and a little blurring vs. hours of D&B is allowed.
I just thought it would be the same thing to sell them to download. Plus some people may have crappy Bandwidth and the viedo maybe choppy from time to time.
Just a thought.

I think I made a mistake on the paypal site 'cos I didn't return to vendor to get the registration link the way I was supposed to.
anyone got any idea what I can do about it?
i did pay - have my receipt from paypal to prove it...

@snook - I totally understand why you want them for download. Even I want them for download, however I was just trying to help clarify why they aren't for download. Whether I agree with the reasoning behind it or not, I do understand why it is the way it is. Hope that makes sense.

I had no problem using the link sent to me, it did take a while to 'connect' , tried to open up in I E instead of my default FireFox. When it I finally got hooked up I was about 15 min late. So I also would like to re-access the program. A transcript
would be very helpful to those of us that paid if nuthin else.

Wonderful as usual, and as stupid as it might sound, and even though he said that it was his fault, I was rather happy to see his PS4 Crash. I have had no end of trouble with its crashing for no apparent reason, and I know I am not alone but yet there seems to be no word anywhere from Adobe about this problem (unless I missed it...) and no patches or fixes for whatever is wrong. I have unchecked, checked, unchecked the openGL as suggested and to no avail. If it is happening to others in the design community who do not fall into plebeian status such as myself, then maybe someone at Adobe will finally sit up and take notice.
As an aside -
Would love to see a webinar or two on old image restoration.

As soon as the webinar ended, so did my computer. THe PS4 crash was an indication that the hard drive was on its way out. I just got it up and running again a day ago.
What kind of crashes are you experiencing? What are you doing when it crashes?
