To celebrate my favorite holiday, we're doing a special free RetouchPRO LIVE show for Halloween.

Watch professional photoillustrator Steve Caplin at work on an original spooky Halloween-themed photomontage. He'll explain his techniques while he works, and answer audience questions. This will be a regular RP LIVE 2+ hour show.

Was pretty good but like someone mentioned would be nice to have some one do so more Photo realistic compositing montages...
No disrepect to Steve, but what I think a lot of people would like would be a more realistic compositing maybe with people and city scenes or whatever but more realistic...

Thank you so much Doug, it was great. I picked up some very interesting techniques and didn't mind at all the few interuptions, gave me a chance to get up and move a little. Now that I have an idea of what they are like I will certainly sign up for another. Is there a way to let us know if the techniques can be used in Elements, I know Elements doesn't have all of the features so I would want to know if it would be worthwhile to sign up or it would just be too frustrating to follow along.

Steve - thank you SO much! It's great to watch you work, and you're very good at remembering to help your audience know what you're doing. You've done photo-realistic composites before and I'd love for you to do more of them in webinars, but this was for Halloween, so I didn't expect "realistic", I expected creepy and funny!

I had wondered if the webinairs would be of any use to me and this was a great way of finding out that they are

One thing though it was weird could hear Doug better from America than Steve here in the UK

A good presentation with several hints and shortcuts. Difficult to make notes as it is quite fast moving. Considering that was all free, the show had a good flow. It would have been wonderful if we could keep copies of the show as reference.

I'm gutted! i was really looking forward to this and I wasn't able to log in for some reason. I tried for an hour going through all the hints and tips that Doug has left about troubleshooting bad connections.
In the end the best I got was some garbled sound of the guys talking, not really able to make it out properly and just a blank screen.
Anyone have any ideas as to why I couldn't see this properly? At least I didn't lose out as it was free.
No doubt it was a problem with my line or computer as lots of other people seemed to have got through ok.

Does anyone remember - when Steve was creating the mist, he used a white brush at 40% opacity, then he locked the transparency, and then he did ??? What did he click on/set right after he locked the layer transparency?
