RP LIVE Free Halloween show w/Steve Caplin

To celebrate my favorite holiday, we're doing a special free RetouchPRO LIVE show for Halloween.

Watch professional photoillustrator Steve Caplin at work on an original spooky Halloween-themed photomontage. He'll explain his techniques while he works, and answer audience questions. This will be a regular RP LIVE 2+ hour show.

For the live show click the link below:
Wednesday, October 28, 2pm CDT (there is a time zone converter on the registration page)
https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/496256243

For the rebroadcast click the link below:
Saturday, October 31, 4pm CDT (there is a time zone converter on the registration page)
https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/728325323

Register for either or both. Space for both is limited, so don't wait. Since this is a free show with plenty of lead time, this would be a great time to invite others to join and discover RetouchPRO LIVE.

Don't wait until the last minute to register, there's a limit of 1000 viewers per show, and it looks like we might reach that long before Halloween week.

There are still some seats left, but not an unlimited number, so don't wait until Halloween to register.

And please post this thread URL to other forums and blogs you visit (after you've reserved your own spot, of course).

Start thinking of questions you'd like to ask Steve Caplin. And don't forget to wear your costume!

Doublecheck the time in your time zone. We're in a weird flux situation where most of the world has switched to winter time but the US doesn't switch until this Sunday.

Here are all the time zones for Wednesday's live show

Here are all the time zones for Saturday's rebroadcast

Obviously the ticket "sales" link won't close for this particular show (you can even register and join while the show is in progress), but I thought I'd still post a reminder that the show begins in less than 2 hours.

And you can also register for Saturday's free rebroadcast of this show.

Here's a helpful page if you have audio problems (scroll 2/3 down)

If you haven't received your confirmation email, check your spam folder.

If you can't connect, verify you have Java installed and active.

Come back to this thread after the show and tell us your thoughts about it. Also, give us your requests for future shows with Steve Caplin.

Was pretty good but like someone mentioned would be nice to have some one do so more Photo realistic compositing montages...
No disrepect to Steve, but what I think a lot of people would like would be a more realistic compositing maybe with people and city scenes or whatever but more realistic...
Thanks for the entertainment..

Re: RP LIVE Free Halloween show w/Steve Caplin

Thank you so much Doug, it was great. I picked up some very interesting techniques and didn't mind at all the few interuptions, gave me a chance to get up and move a little. Now that I have an idea of what they are like I will certainly sign up for another. Is there a way to let us know if the techniques can be used in Elements, I know Elements doesn't have all of the features so I would want to know if it would be worthwhile to sign up or it would just be too frustrating to follow along.
Thank you
Elaine
