Question about RP LIVE payment method

I chose Paypal to be the broadest possible single solution. But they are expensive on my side. I'm looking at alternatives, but I need to know your opinion.

How important is Paypal in your decision to buy an RP LIVE ticket? Would direct credit card transactions be better or worse?

Re: Question about RP LIVE payment method

I'd be happy with a direct credit card charge.

Re: Question about RP LIVE payment method

This is my rant...

I detest paypal! I detest the fact that they are not a bank and because of that some credit card companies have learned the hard way how difficult they are to deal with. I detest the fact that their complaint resolution methods do not work. I detest the fact that they can access your accounts whether you want them to or not and that getting your money back from them is a nightmare. I have had friends who have had their accounts frozen by paypal and have lost money because of paypal's bad business ethics. I detest the fact that I had to set up an account with them and despite numerous attempts at getting them to stop sending me spam, they still do.

Should I go on????

Janet

I think these issues, in a minority of cases, are valid, but they don't really hold any water when dealing with Doug.

My take on it is paypal makes it easy, I would imagine direct CC would effect sales both from the simplicity of papal payments and also new members might feel uncomfortable !

But you could try both on a trial basis and see how is works for you Doug. I for one am use to paying with paypal and find it easier than looking for a credit card each time..
I appreciate some sites can retain your details but I don't like that idea one bit.

So its paypal, as the best option available at the moment for me..

Re: Question about RP LIVE payment method

yes, Doug, it's paypal. I always keep a little "playmoney" on that account, because I don't really like submitting credit card information via net.

Re: Question about RP LIVE payment method

PayPal is quite esay and quick in use. Maybe direct credit card payment would work too.

Re: Question about RP LIVE payment method

I don't trust paypal, but I use the credit card option rather than logging in to my paypal account (that I started before I heard the bad stuff about them). So either is workable for me.
