RP LIVE - "Apply Image" with Carrie Beene

Carrie has something a little different planned for this new RetouchPRO LIVE show. We'll watch her desktop live as she performs a retouch from start-to-finish, but this image was specifically selected to show how she uses the Apply Image command. A second image will be used to demonstrate other uses for Apply Image.

Hi Doug
I am waiting for the webinar to start. The last one I attended opened a citrix window about half an hour beforehand and had an audio message telling me that the show was almost ready. This time, just a page that says come back later. I s this because it is not a rebroadcast (like the last one was?)

Hi, got into meeting, but it said it was muted. Got out and went to a different computer and got the message that someone with my email was already registered. Registered with different email and it said launch successful, but never went any further. Dang.

Update from previous. I now know what muted means, but I just don't have sound. Am on the phone with tech support and they can't figure it out. They say that Java wouldn't have anything to do with the audio.

Karin I,
I was on the phone with tech support for over 2 hours, he tried everything. We tried different speakers, tested a Windows 7 machine in their lab, rebooted in Safe Mode and a test webinar. I have sound for everything except the webinar. His conclusion was the AVG firewall, although I have viewed webinars on another computer with AVG. This is the first webinar I have tried with this computer. It's new and has Windows 7. The last step I will try will be allow all the files that gotomeeting uses with AVG and call them back. Otherwise, guess I'll have to keep my old computer up and running.

Check your sound settings. The show is mono, and a user reported that his fancy 5.1 sound system didn't recognize the mono track until he went into his sound utility and set it to match. Just a guess...

That book is going to be a cult classic! Sounds like it's going to have some real staying power. Due to it being so specific it's not going to make Carrie a millionaire overnight, but it's going to give her a steady flow af cash over the years. Can't wait to get mine!

There's going to be one final makeup advertisement that you work on for the whole course of the book. It looks like you start out with numerous raw files and you work on retouching them all separately, and then later combining them all together in a final ad.

Ummm..... not sure about the ebook, sounded like an actual paper book, not sure though. I think the predicted date was somewhere around next Fall sometime.
