Does anyone have the steps to the last layer she did? That kind of sharpened some areas/pores into focus?
Thanks!

Nice broadcast, a little simple, but it's great to see Amy in action. I'd LOVE to see a webinar focusing on carving - where I feel Amy's true genius shines.

Stamp image (control+alt+shift+e)
change to overlay (soft light, or linear light)
run high pass fiter (filter> other> high pass)
Click new layer mask in the layer pallet, then mask out areas you don't want sharpened.

For added sharpness without halos, you can run a levels/curves on the high pass to bring up the detail contrast.

Next time, it would be great if you could schedule a more complex design, for example any of the swimmers, like this one: http://amydresser.com/img/tyr_ironman.jpg

she masks out the pores and skin area i believe...she seems to like the effect on make up (enhance glitters/sparkles). It's pretty much a normal high pass filter...duplicate all in one layer, then desaturate, and high pass filter @ about 3-4, layer to overlay.
