It was a a great show and it supplements my knowledge. Doug I just want to ask if there is a raw file of the actual image for us to practice?

Great show, I think Amy showed us that the more simplistic ways can be just as effective, as it is what you do with the tools not what the tools can do for you, especially the D&B technique which was quick and effective.

Very Nice, indeed. Great retouch for sure.

What I liked best, was her post talk about her freelance situation. I am an LA based retouching freelancer too, and I really enjoyed her take on that situation. I also worked for a big Hollywood firm, and now enjoy working for myself. I can relate to her about the human "lunch" thing....but it is so much nicer not to have to rely on someone else!

JC

Great job Amy!!

Sorry, no. It's hard enough to get permissions just for Amy's use.

Fantastic show as usual. Each time I see one of her shows I'm able to follow/understand it better than the time before. I love her approach to working. Doug, thanks so much for taking the time to discuss some of the "life as a retoucher" topics at the end. And thanks to Amy for being willing to share.

I enjoyed the show and learned a few things, if I had to add some constructive criticism I'd recommend not using a model with dark skin. I spent most of the show searching for Amy's brush on the model's skin.

Might these ever be available as pay to watch freely, like BBC's iPlayer? I always seem to miss the allocated broadcasts.

Re: RetouchPRO LIVE with Amy Dresser

i was disappointed when Amy was intterupted (it's okay if it's for asking a question) and get suggested to stuffs like changing the background and the likes.

sometimes asking was done in a way that could have put pressure on her to do stuffs the way that would satisfy other people.

here in malaysia, 4PM CST Saturday is 6 AM sunday (+0800GMT).

I woke up as early as 5 AM to drive half an hour to some place with fast and stable connection.

i wanted to watch Amy do the retouching, not the presenter.

but other than that, it's a pleasing experience. Really an eye opener, a new insight.

But please, i think for the next time, let them do like they always do their job. Otherwise, why learn from them. Might as well just pay them so we could teach them.

Sorry for bad english.
