Excellent show, congrats to both Amy and Dough for staying on track and showing us a retouch from beginning to end, it was very informative, and Amy is a great guest.

I had a question for Amy that we didn't get around too, maybe she'll be able to do so after the fact.

How did she go about finding an agent, and what's their role in her career.

About the question about "banding" in the end. I am sure the webinar software enhances the actual banding. So it might look "worse" on our end seeing the compressed stream of Amy's monitor. I actually took a screenshot of it in the end of the show where it clearly shows that the gradient background gets compressed really hard. Looks like a video that's mpeg-compressed with big squares in some areas.

I just have to say how much I LOVED the Amy Dresser webinar! It's the first one I've ever done and it made my day. I love how Amy Dresser speaks without pretense and in such a gracious and honest way. Her non-judgmental attitude and willingness to simply show what she does was so refreshing. I like how she demonstrates that it's not about formulas, but rather simple tools and principles applied with an artistic eye. Thanks for a great show. I will be singing your praises in my next blog post.

This webinar was fascinating. I have a question on how big of a feather value she was using when she was doing all her color blending. I wrote down 40 which could not be as I get the error message there are no pixels in what I have selected. About the most I can do is 15 and then I get frustrated as I can't seem to control what is being affected -- the area that you really get is much smaller than what you lasso. Anyone take better notes or have suggestions?

I did actually attend this LIVE Show but I'm requesting for a rebroadcast. Several things I didn't quite catch and I need to recall.


By the way, apart from Amy Dresser, will there be some more of male image retouch by some other presenters as well? I'll love to see different approach from different professionals based on similar subject.
