In response to viewer request, our next RetouchPRO LIVE rebroadcast is the "Ask an Adobe Engineer" show.
Although Adobe Senior Engineer Chris Cox posts regularly in the Adobe support forums, many of you probably have never heard of him. But every single one of you has a favorite Photoshop feature that he is largely responsible for. Sometimes it seems there's not an area of Photoshop that Chris hasn't either written from scratch or vastly improved.
Chris was such a good sport. The audience peppered him with questions of every sort. Some he was able to answer in just a few words, but many of them required a few minutes or more to answer adequately (and Chris is a stickler for adequate explanation).
Just a few of the topics Chris spent more time with are:
- How each blur works, and how it is different from the others
- What does the custom filter do, and how do you use it
- What is the future of GPU use with Photoshop
- And (my favorite), the REAL story of AdobeRGB's creation, and it's dirty little secret
You can choose from an early or a later show, whichever suits your time zone. And please remember to click "Return to Merchant" after paying so you can complete your registration. Saturday, November 6, 6am or 2pm CDT
