On our next all-new RetouchPRO LIVE, you will view Andrew Rodney's full-sized desktop live via your web browser as he explains and demonstrates why even diehard Photoshop users should use Lightroom for Digital Asset Management. There will be downloadable notes after the show.

"DAM those torpedoes, full speed ahead. One of the most compelling features of Lightroom is its ability to organizes your images. Everyone seems to have a different approach on how to setup such a task. This seminar will explore some possibilities of how you might want to think about setting up a database of images, organize folders of photos and rename them so you can find them inside and outside of Lightroom. We’ll examine when keywords and smart collections are useful in organizing both originals and variations for print and web output, best practices for setting up image catalogs and how to handle multiple catalogs on location and back in the studio. Even if you don’t currently use Lightroom, many of the organizing strategies will be applicable for use with other image databases."

After Andrew is finished with his presentation, he will answer more general questions on a time available basis.

Is this only a live show? I'm a little slow and like to hear things a couple times to get it in my head. Will I be able to view the show again after the live viewing?

This is a live show. It sounds like you might want to wait for the recording to be posted to YouTube for rental. Of course, then you lose the ability to ask questions, etc.

Appears that the file limit of Lightroom is 30K pixels along the long axis.
