Photoshop version in PRO LIVE announcements

When the announcements of forthcoming RetouchPRO LIVE presentations are sent, the version of Photoshop that will be discussed is not stated. Perhaps I am somewhat shallow, but knowing the version seems important. For example, the UK lady who made the excellent retouching presentation used CS3. Many of us have graduated to CS5, and in CS5 some of the key procedures (work arounds) that she described are not needed. A prime example is the forthcoming presentation about Photoshop Myths & Mysteries -- version isn't mentioned in the email or on the web page. If it focusses on, for example, CS3, that is of limited use to a CS5 user. Just a suggestion that could provide additional information that would allow some of us to decide about allocating the time to watch.

Re: Photoshop version in PRO LIVE announcements

I mention version number when it is important, which is very rarely (the 3D shows are an example). Gry used CS4, which was current at the time it was recorded. It's a safe bet that a live show from a tech guru like Andrew will feature the current version at the time.
