Re: International rentals test (part 2)

Hi, tried to rent a show for the first time but the dialog boxes won't recognize my username, email address or password. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to re-register somewhere?

The rental registration is separate from the forum registration.

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

I've just added 2 shows from Carrie Beene, "Encrusted" (a beauty retouch start-to-finish) and her "Product Retouching" show which includes a start-to-finish but also a lot of industry information.

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

. Germany, Düsseldorf.
. thx for the show (Chris ...... rough skin) .
. for newbies : tell them .... no firefox ....
. show a little pic of the start screen ..... so they know .... how it starts .
. i waited 2 hours in front of black screen ... because i had no idea .... when and how the show is beginning ..... i only thought .... the download is running, because the button was blinking ..... (firefox show for beginners)
. the fine tuning of the rewind is .... rough .... if you like to see 9:21 (for example) ...... you have to surf until finding this timepoint .
. if you click stop ........ you are out .... and can start new ....... why ?
.
. sry for my english ....
. thx for the show !!!

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

Both the "little pic" and a much better "rewind" are coming in a future build of the player. As for your problem with clicking stop, send me an email (contact link at bottom of this page) and I'll forward it to technical support.

Sorry for your inconvenience.

I just added Steve Caplin's "All About Layers" show and Scott Valentine's "3D Photoshop" show.

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

Doug,

I have enjoyed two shows but have had some frustration with the rewind feature. I'm glad to hear that it will be improved. Also, in the Steve Caplin "Selections" show there was a disconcerting discrepancy between the volume of your voice and Steve's voice. I would have to turn the volume up high to hear Steve and then your voice would boom through requiring me to turn the volume down. This went on throughout the show. I found myself missing some of what Steve was saying because I could not get the volume readjusted in time. Is there any way to adjust the volume of the two voices so they are closer together during production?

Cliff

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

Some of the older shows do have that problem as I was using consumer-grade gear at the time. A little over a year ago I upgraded to studio-grade and was better able to control the volume within the show.
