Re: International rentals test (part 2)

I've added Steve Caplin's "What's New in Photoshop CS5". Perhaps not the most current topic, but there is a lot of excellent info there about the new features. Not just that they exist, but how they work and how you might want to use them.

I just added "Apply Image" with Carrie Beene, "Elvada" with Amy Dresser, "Motovate" with Chris Tarantino, and "Smart Objects" with Steve Caplin.

re Uwe S tute, came through loud and clear to Tasmania Australia (WinXP, FF5.0.1)

hope you will program some "hard core" photo compositing tutes for the future, eg start to finish building an interesting image

thanks and best wishes

Neil

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

Great new additions! I will check them out soon. I love this new little rental stuff! In every video there's a couple of things that are new to me and seem to be able to push me into a new direction. To me this really works great and i am really thankful to mister Doug who made this all possible.

Like brosepix said,, a video on compositing would be extremely valuable!!

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

I'm working on landing a compositor or two (a couple in the works). Suggestions welcome. The primary problem is that compositing is usually very lengthy to do, and compressing to 2 hours requires a bit more work than our little show can justify (at least for those I've contacted so far).

Believe it or not, our current best traditional compositing show is Ian Goode's BMW show. It's actually more about compositing than car retouching. Steve Caplin's shows are also excellent compositing shows, but his style is more humorous and less realistic.

I don't know if it is possible but who not do an intermediate/advanced show on compositing? I mean, yes, if you have to go through the basics first, 2 hours are too short. If you would aim at the intermediate retoucher/compositer he/she would already know the techniques, we just want to know how the techniques are being applied. Someone could show this, and do a little explanation about this in the show. This way you can fit a lot of info in 2 hours i think....?

Re: International rentals test (part 2)

I was finally able to get this to work and watched for one hour. I would like to continue today but do not see where or how I am to retrieve what I was watching. Any help please?
