RetouchPRO LIVE "Advanced Wacom" w/ Weston Maggio

It's hard to overstate the importance of a good tablet for anyone serious about Photoshop. They may learn it ahead of time, or learn it the hard way, but everyone eventually learns a tablet, usually a Wacom tablet, is as essential to a retoucher as a hammer is to a carpenter.

On our next all-new RetouchPRO LIVE, I've invited Wacom's own Weston Maggio to show us the many things we don't know about our Wacom tablets.

His remit is to assume we're already tablet fans and owners, so we'll skip right past all the generic "tablets are cool" stuff and get right to the advanced features many probably don't know even exist. And this includes the advanced features of Photoshop that are only unlocked with a tablet.

And of course this is a live show, so this is your opportunity to get answers to those pesky tablet questions we all accumulate.

Wednesday, May 2, 4pm CST (see link below for other time zones)

RetouchPRO LIVE is a live talk show where we chat with an artist as we watch them at work. The audience helps guide the course of the conversation with their questions and comments. This is not a canned presentation or studio-produced tutorial. It's extemporaneous and candid, and as in-depth as the audience requests it to be.

Can't make it during that time (working) but it's available afterward for rental, I presume?

It will be available for rental a day or so after the live show.

I just finished "rehearsal" with Weston, and I'm even more amped than I was before. I learned stuff just from his outline.

We'll be using Photoshop CS6 and Intuos 5, but he's promised to mention if anything is unique or renamed from previous versions. He'll also be discussing accessories, including some I didn't even know existed (but now want).

Looking forward to presenting this comprehensive look into tablets for like-minded users! Additionally, I look forward to perusing this thread to talk shop in the weeks that follow. Cheers!

The ticket sales link will close in a few minutes.

If you haven't received your confirmation email, check your spam folder. You'll want to make sure both retouchpro.com and citrixonline.com are whitelisted (listed as "trusted" or "friendly" or "always allowed") in your spam filter.

If it's not there, check the inbox for the email account you use for PayPal.

If you can't connect, verify you have Java installed and active. You should also try another browser.

Tollfree 24/7 tech support phone numbers can be found here (make sure you specify gotowebinar in the dropdown options).

I was really hoping to catch this one, as I just got an Intuos5 last week. I can't wait for the rental to become available!

Re: RetouchPRO LIVE "Advanced Wacom" w/ Weston Mag

Hi! If I understood you guys right it should be possible to assign a series of keystrokes to the radial menu (for example the claw followed by alt and . as Doug wanted). Is there some kind of divider that youd have to fill into the field, for the wacom not to mix up the different keystrokes for a possible different shortcut
