Ed Wood movies, especially " Plan 9 from Outer Space". What can I say, I am drawn to his works ( other than the porn films he made towards the end of his life) like a Lemming to a high cliff over looking the sea....they are so bad they make you feel good. Devoid of plot, talent, script,with miserable props and outlandish make up, they have a peculiar sedative effect when watched intently.....Tom

I forgot all about "Plan 9 from Outer Space"! I don't remember much about it except being able to see the strings holding up the space ships and...something about zombies?

Godzilla movies are another guilty pleasure...especially the one with Mothra!

RE; Plan 9......The "Special Effects" are so astonishingly crude as to induce uncontrollable hysterical laughter when viewed....once the stunned astonishment dissapates.....Tom

Was 'Plan 9' on similar line to Buster Crabbs sets in Flash Gordon with sparklers attached to the space ships or perhaps not as sophisticated ! I always had a soft spot for Ming the Merciless myself.

Doug, 'Cobblers' the dangly bits on stallions !

James Bond flicks with Sean Connery.

The original M*A*S*H.

Blazing Saddles (has anyone besides me noticed the picture hanging behind the bar in the saloon of the horses humping?)

Bullit w/Steve McQueen.

French Connection

Dirty Harry flicks w/Clint Eastwood. ("Go ahead... Make my day"!)

Beverly Hills Cop - I

Indiana Jones flicks.

~~~~~~~~~~
Guilty pleasures in that I don't think I'd be too keen on my 4 and 6 year olds seeing any of them, 'cept perhaps the Indy Jones flicks, but all the bugs and snakes would scare the begebbers out of them.
I just re-re-re-re-rewatched "The Last Boy Scout" yesterday, and was reminded of this thread. So my new addition here would be movies written by Shane Black. They're cliches and predictable, but the man does have a way with buddy-movie dialog.
