Anime

My brother is going to be home recovering from outpatient surgery for a couple of weeks. He likes anime, but isn't avid enough about it to know what to look for, so I thought I'd try to rent some good ones for him to help pass the time.

Any recommendations?

Japanese animation, usually derived from 'manga' or comic books. Big robots, stupid sidekicks, cackling evil guys, etc.

Akira is the only "Anime" movie I have seen. It is pretty amazing from an animation point of view...just do not ask me to explain the plot!
