No, this movie isn't porn, it is a Stephen Soderburg-on-acid flick that, in my opinion, is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I hated it. Critics loved it. 'Nuf said.
The only thing worse was a movie called "Random Hearts" that came out a few years ago. |

| | | I live a bit in the art-film world, and see many of the more obscure flicks that come around. I haven't really talked to anyone else who has seen this, but I was really bored with it. It just seemed to try to hard to be different, so hard that it was unwatchable. David Duchovney (sp?) was in it, and Julia Roberts, and the girl from "Being John Malcovich" (not Cameron Diaz - the other one) |

I remember the scene in the previews where Duchovney is getting a massage and I kept thinking it must have felt like a throw back to his Porno days. It never seemed like one I wanted to rush out to see from the previews but then again previews don't always do a movie justice. But now I think if it makes it to TV and is free, I may see it if I don't have to wash my hair or something.  I much rather listen to a regular persons view than a critics anyway. Lord only knows what they see when they go to movies but it's never what I see, that's for sure.

| | | Yes, that's how he started out as an actor years ago. Don't know which ones he did because I never saw them but I remember him talking about it on a talk show and I heard or read other mention of it when he became famous for X-Files.
