| | | Re: Razor Sharpening Hi Rô.
Nice Logic.
The action gives me the error
The Object "Layer Darken" is not currently available - Continue – Stop
Although this is right at the end of the action. Clicking Continue deletes the lighten layer. So the action works OK. Maybe this is a PS7/CS thing.

| | | Re: Razor Sharpening Ken, many thanks for reporting the problem.
You are exactly correct. I had used the one CS2 command that works different in PS7 - well, the one that I know of. (If anybody is interested it is the merge visible: In PS7 it merges to current layer, in CS2 it creates a new layer)
I have updated the posted action. So now it works in PS7 and CS2 with no problems.

| | | Re: Razor Sharpening Just what the doctor ordered byro. I use a Warp Sharp Script-fu that gives you some of this aspect but I believe your idea is even better. I'll give it a go.
Edit:
Not only does this method yield pretty good sharpening on portraits, but I do see artistic possibilities with it, but I already see that you have too (other posts).

| | | Re: Razor Sharpening I have the same problem. It doesn't download completely, then Winzip says "Cannot open. Damaged archive." I have tried several times.

| | | Re: Razor Sharpening I finally worked out my problem.... I have a downloader. I never had any problems with it at all. So i did not suspected it at first. I just used the old "save target as" and it worked fine....

| | | Re: Razor Sharpening Syd, Seems that Ev has the answer.
I am attaching a text file printout of the action, so you can and understand how it works.

| | | Re: Razor Sharpening Thanks Evelyn. That worked! I have a downloader too and that must have been the problem.
