Processing of Infrared images with PS Elements

Hi,

I am using and EOS 500D with a Hoya R72 filter.

The images are obviously red, and I have read ways of processing them, but I can't seem to follow the instructions when using Photoshop Elements.

Does anyone know how I can use Elements to correct the colour balance etc?
