Sorry to go off thread Jak, but you seem to have an awful lot of programs in your taskbar You even seem to be using IE for your browser (judging by open pages in taskbar), but also have Netscape loaded into memory as well.

I thought i was bad for open programmes needlessly

I agree. Right down to the bar code. Looks like you bought it off the rack.

Thanks, I just turned it in today, I'm hoping for an "A". There were a lot of other students in the class that did some fantastic final projects also.

Trimoon,
I think National Geo would be envious of that cool cover. Awesome picture and well done.

I see you changed your avatar.

Hey guys and gals. I just wanted to show off my mag cover which was inspired by this tutorial/thread. I took all the pictures and yes the bands and awards mentioned are real. If you get bored you are welcome to check out my slice of the web at www.TulsaRockNRoll.com (concert pics etc...).

Peace,
Emmett

Unhappy some advice wanted...

Hi Everyone,
Recently my daughters asked me to put them on the cover of
Seventeen magazine. My question is this: Is there a way to create a full font of the magazine title? I know I could extract the letters in "Seventeen" one at a time or select the text entirely but what about an actual font? Has anyone had any experience in creating a font for a particular template? Thanks in advance.

Howard

oops

I forgot to add in the last post that all of these covers are nicely done. It's good to see them on this forum because you can see at a glance that you've all tackled the same problems. Thank you for sharing

Post Magazine Cover

I used to design Magazine Covers for studios I worked for that shot youth sports. Making a magazine cover is one of my favorite activities, and one of the most requested items by my clients. These are some VERY basic steps for making one, but you can play with it, use layer masks, add designs & graphics, etc. to spice it up any way you want. You can also adapt the technique to make Trader Cards. [details]
