As an excuse for not being here for a long time I will post links to what I've been doing!

My new Konica Minolta DIMAGE A2 goes milky if the light is too strong. I decided to find out why. Here's the result.

I have an A1. It has the same problem. Period. Underlined. Capitalized.

No matter what setting I put it on, if the day is very sunny and I'm shooting without all the fancy photographic aids in real time where I can't control all of the factors, something light gets blown out (i.e. 254).

If, on the other hand, I'm shooting on a dreary day, the camera performs WONDERFULLY...except for the sky, of course. Giggle.

I was really glad to have your article. I've read through it. Now, I just have to implement your technique. Thank you.

P.S. How is the digital noise factor with your A2? Not that I can afford to upgrade yet. Sigh.

It will correct the exposure. However, milk all over the place is a USM, Curves and Levels job. Afterwards.

That is to be expected. The 7X, A1, A2 and now A200 share the same lens.

Use a constant exposure compensation of -0.3 or -0.7. That helps quite a lot. And get used to having an eye on the histogram. That takes care of the rest

Simply excellent. I don't understand the complaints. And in addition I have bought Noise Ninja.
