yes ! I didn't expect much when I made the switch a couple of months ago but I've had no viruses since. More surprising as I haven't done the security update.

I also like the tabs for multiple browser windows.

Maybe it will stay this way, Microsoft has supposedly always been the target of your everyday Hacker.
