Anyone know how to grow bamboo in pots?

We have an el-cheapo hot tub and I was coming up with an inexpensive way to screen it and I thought...BAMBOO!

There are so many kinds. Anyone have experience with the stuff? I heard it goes crazy and should be planted in pots.
