Holiday Traveling

I don't want to do it but somehow I have been made to go visit upnorth this Thanksgiving. I hate flying and now my whole family is supposed to go on a plane and I'm a wreck. Just curious how many take annual holiday trips and what kind of havoc I'm in for or if it's really not all that bad. I'll be flying with four kids, which includes almost three year old twins. I'm hoping that I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. Any suggestions for three year olds and their ears? My husband thinks there is some kind of medicine but I prefer a non medicine trick if there is one. They don't drink from a bottle and are too young for gum. I'm thinking mommy having a few good drinks may help???? LOL

By the way, I hope everyone has safe holiday travels and if for some reason near Thanksgiving you see this huge family with whiney twin baby girls on your plane be kind and nice to us errr ummm them.... heh heh..

It's too late now, but my mommie just told us to YAWN really BIG while we were driving up to the mountains (and back down) to reduce the ear popping.
Not sure how old we were when we learned to follow her instructions, though.
