Friese-Greene

Watched this program on t.v last night and found it quite fascinating it is about a pioneering film maker,In 1924 who shot footage on his travels from Lands End to John o Groats (UK) but in colour ! and it gives some insight into the way of life back then
here is a link to programs which you can watch if interested (not dial up i would of thought )

Contrary to the impression many folks have, the "Beeb" is not free, it is paid for by the English TV licences. So they sortta got a point there.

Shame though.
