For all UK drivers

Useful info on speed cameras

I expect some of you will already know this but from the
start of this week you can now get information online about whether or
not you have passed a speed camera whilst driving above the stated
limit.

Every time your car goes past a speed camera, even at
1mph over the set limit it is registered and put on a
database. You only get a fine / ban if you are way over the limit or,
(this is the bit that we didn't know) if you receive over 20 near
misses, you will be classed as a serial offender and get a ticket the
next time you go just over the limit.

This is why you hear of people being done for 34 mph in a 30 limit zone
whilst others doing 39 are not.

You can now check what has been registered against our vehicle at the
following Link below. (You will need your car registration number)

* Speed cameras
http://www.e-database.co.uk/default.asp

You will be asked for a password but just click on the
need a password link and you will be given one for future
use.

If there is any data on your vehicle you can click on
the camera window to see a copy of the Photograph, although this feature
is not always available.

At 3 plus dollars per gallon, (U.S. prices), I can't afford to drive the speed limit. Much less over it. 8-)

Never mind the Porsche, what about the Koenigseig (world's fastest speeding ticket 245 mph).

(Spelling of Koenigseig probably wrong, it's a Swedish car, bit more sprightly than a Volvo.)

Steve think yourself lucky just done a quick check on a currency converter and
$3 = about £1.60p. Our petrol ( gas) could be touching the £5 per gallon soon ( if not already ) which is about $9.32

I'm gonna get a horse. But then with my luck, there would be a hay famine.
