I was eating something when I opened Sam's re-creation and started choking so bad I almost needed the hiemlich. OH Sam, you need to put a warning on items of that nature. Then along comes Tim and has to add to the visual effect. This thread should be labeled a health hazard. "Warning!!! Do not open this thread or possible choking, side splitting and out right gut busting laughter may occur!!!!" DJ

If my memory is correct, wasn't there something about Princess Fergie cavorting around on some island showing her royal toes or something.Just thought about her because I saw some promo that she's supposed to be on Larry King tonight-I think. But maybe she was just a commoner and that doesn't count. Have to agree that those transformations are just too funny for words....which reminds me of a little story. A friend of mine was having her picture taken in front of Buckingham Palace wearing a Burger King crown and was" spoken to " by one of the bobbies for being disrespectful to the country. Wonder if all of our names are on any list yet? PC Last edited by paulette conlan; 01-08-2002 at 02:36 PM.

She should have been taken to the tower and horsewhipped or even worse introduced to Prince Andrew ! Tim I'm afraid the £1 pound note is no longer in ciculation, your version would have gone well with the new £9 pound note depicting heroic patriot Benedict Arnold fully clothed I might add.

Heroic patriot WHO?????????? Geez, we Yanks whup a little old island nation and they never forget it. (Gotta admit, Chris, that was a good one.)

Just got back after almost a whole day with no electricity (Chris - I must try out your power generating ideas!) The thing I forgot to mention before and nobody else has, is that this portrait thing took over a year and a half to paint!!!! I'm sure that most of us here could have done a better job in an afternoon.

Oh Tim - that is totally O-U-T-R-A-G-E-O-U-S!!! Never mind Tom, Doug'll be getting the vapours soon if his web host shuts the site down for "improper content" ... But I'm quite sure Phillip would approve.

Sam - "Improper content!" I'll have you know that my creation is not sleazy porn. On the contrary, it is true art of the highest caliber. As the art critic said about the original..."thought-provoking and psychologically penetrating." Its a serious work demanding serious viewing. Yeah, I like that...its "psychologically penetrating!"

You misunderstand me - I was referring to the improper use of the Mickey Mouse ears and Santa Claus boots. It's as well Walt Disney is no longer with us. He'll be turning in his grave.

Ohmygod!!! Who showed 'em how to work zippers and buttons? Its the visual equlivent of cholera, typhoid and a six month bad-whiskey-with-antifreeze-chaser drunk all rolled into one mind numbing, intellect draining, panic inspiring apocalyptic vision of the nineteenth level of hades...Psychologically penetrating dont even describe the half of it.. I may never sleep again...the image keeps coming back each time I shut my eyes....along with cold sweats, palpitations and a sudden urge to cast myself from the basement window....Tom

Chris - Fetishism? Well, there were those unfortunate thoughts of Annette in her mouse ears so many years ago. Tom - [You've got me laughing so hard I can hardly reply. But I'll try to rise to the occasion.] Your reaction is EXACTLY the one my artistic vision was guiding me to. I now realize that amidst the doubts and uncertainties that befall the creatrive process, my artistic muse was faithfully leading me to the granduer and glory of all that is noble and inspired and truthful within my creative being. Thank you for validating my artistic vision. (You're jumping out the *basement* window?)

Hey Ed, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I know I have probably eternally damned my chances for successful entry into the land that I have most wanted to visit, but, hey, we all have to set our priorities and who could pass up such a golden opportunity to lambast a national figure? It was just too much of a temptation. It was an ACCIDENT...I didn't mean to do it!

Considering the subject of the painting, it almost has a "Portrait of Dorian Gray" quality to it. Maybe the Queen can stop aging now. LOL
