I need some SDK help

Go to adobe.com and download the Photoshop CS2 SDK. It isn't easy, but it is free. Don't supply "how to find it" advice or URLs to anyone, just report back if you downloaded it from adobe.com (elsewhere doesn't count, and please don't share the actual SDK) or not.

I could use as many people to try as possible, even if you have no interest in the SDK. I'll be forwarding this thread to Adobe.

(The SDK is the Software Development Kit which is the developer's guide to writing plugins)

Oh yeah, if you already have the SDK, or if you pay for one of Adobe's developer programs, this isn't aimed at you. I'm looking for examples from people that have never tried to get it before.

I am also registered at the adobe resources center but have to fill in a form that is obviously designed for developers so I didn't fill any info, and tried to see if I could just dwld the windows version but got the same message as NancyJ "Http 403 error - insuficient priviledges"

Sorry -

P.S.: In view that you subscribed in August 2001 is it perhaps a 5th anniversary of RetouchPro ?

I never said you wouldn't have to request it (part of the "it isn't easy" proviso).

Martha: RP moved to this forum in August, we were around before that.

You've already gotten further than I ever did. Let me know if you're "approved" or not.

Anyone else get this far (or further)?

OK then will make my formal request today and report results later

Done, copy of reply:
"Photoshop SDK request submitted!
An e-mail will be sent within 4 business days, and if your request is approved, will include instructions for accessing the SDK. Thank you for your patience."

Got It !!

Received my e-mail with authorization to download about an hour ago.
After a little mishap, (the Password recovery stuff works fine too ) downloaded with no problem.

Started reading - already discovered that CS2 is MachO.
