Old Time Radio

Is there any one else on here who works on images while listening to old time radio?

Fibber and Molly and I can really make short work of the hardest PS problems you have ever seen

Re: Old Time Radio

I definitely can associate with your choice of working environment, Mike. Myself, I turn on the TV when I get up and it doesn't turn off 'til I'm ready to go to sleep. Thing is though, I rarely actually watch it. E.G. when I was creating my entry for this month's RP contest, I had "The Shining" playing on the TV -- didn't look at it once. But it did provide a subliminal inspiration.

Re: Old Time Radio

Though I'm not a huge classical music fan I find myself listening to classical. I think it soothes me while I work. It also seems to help me be a little bit more patient.

Re: Old Time Radio

Try this

http://www.live365.com/stations/otrnow

Been listening to it for some time, I think that I had to register there but it was no cost.

They have quite a list of different "stations" and most of them specialize in some kind of speciality or another.

Remember Dragnet? dum-de-dum-dum.......

Re: Old Time Radio

mike,

i went there and it said my windows media player was out of date but when i checked with microsoft, it said it was fine. so, what's the deal there? are they purposely keeping wmp from working so that you have to use theirs (and the paranoid in me says 'so they can put spyware or trackers on my machine') or do i just need to turn something on in my browser or what? any ideas? activex or java scripts maybe?

i'll try it again later with those things turned on. i normally leave them off. so that's probably it.

Usually don't care, I am too busy laughing......

However when Red Skelton comes on, work stops.
