Re: mozilla bookmark lost!

To put them back, try:

Boookmarks>Organize; then
File>Import, and point to the last saved copy.

(the names might be a little different - mine is in Portuguese here)

My first post after lurking for months!! Woo Hoo!!

In addition to the above, for future safety you can use the foxmarks add on. Saves all your favorites to a web server so you can pull them up if lost, and synchronize your favorites on multiple computers. It's awesome.

Maybe soon I'll get the nerve to post some images----

Re: mozilla bookmark lost!

Just one little thing to add to Ro's excellent instructions. You'll need to change your folder settings to allow you to see hidden files and folders, otherwise you wont be able to see the Application Data folder.

Click on any folder, hit Tools > Folder Options > View then click on the "Show hidden files and folders" then click OK

I always keep my bookmarks backed up to a USB drive just because you never know when things will go pear shaped.

Bookmarks > Organise Bookmarks > File > Export then save them to a location you can find (as I said, I keep them on a USB drive).
