| | | mozilla bookmark lost! MAN!!! All my bookmarks from my mozilla browser are gone after a samll update from them! all my collections of photographers, retouchers cool sites I like is just gone! I ahde everything in order and now it's lost! well, maybe I hope someone can give me some pointers on how to get them back?
maybe it's on my harddrive, but can really find them...

In addition to the above, for future safety you can use the foxmarks add on. Saves all your favorites to a web server so you can pull them up if lost, and synchronize your favorites on multiple computers. It's awesome.

| | | Re: mozilla bookmark lost! Just one little thing to add to Ro's excellent instructions. You'll need to change your folder settings to allow you to see hidden files and folders, otherwise you wont be able to see the Application Data folder.
Click on any folder, hit Tools > Folder Options > View then click on the "Show hidden files and folders" then click OK
I always keep my bookmarks backed up to a USB drive just because you never know when things will go pear shaped. Bookmarks > Organise Bookmarks > File > Export then save them to a location you can find (as I said, I keep them on a USB drive). |
