Hello retouchers...

Just a quick post to say hello to everybody and I am amazed to see how the Retouching community has grown so much to have such a huge website.

Re: Hello retouchers...

Thanks for your reply, Ant. I reckon one can learn by teaching too :-) I tell you, if it wasn't for people much much more knowledgeable and talented than myself being very open and willing to share what they know, I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today.

That said, where then do you go and not get disappointed?

Re: Hello retouchers...

I suppose that is true. There are many that purport that they would like to learn here (most in fact), but the pro part of retouchpro.com is quite misleading. Look around and you'll get the idea.

I'm not sure where there really is to go, probably why I hang around every once in awhile when the rest of the net bores me. At least there is a like interest thing here.

Re: Hello retouchers...

Awww, admit it, you wuv us!

As for getting more pro users, nothing would delight me more. Invite your friends, coworkers, people you pass in the hall, strangers at Starbucks...

If you know of something that would make RP more hospitable to fulltime working retouchers, please start another thread and let me know (or contribute it yourself).

And welcome, Raygun.
