Talking Hello !

Just a note to say hi.

I was incline to look at this forum while looking for some info on Painter Vs Paint Shop Pro.
Im a Photographer and allways used Photo Shop but I will like to learn to convert my portraits to paintings and some one said to check out Corel. Any input will be breatly appriciated.

I bought Paint SHop Pro 8

Re: Hello !

Hello Mike and welcome,
On turning your photo's into paintings, that is a huge question, what i would suggest is looking through the photoart forums and seeing what styles you like/want to achieve, most people will note which software they use, painter is one of the top softwares ( i havent used it ) but at a price and has i believe a steep learning curve ( you could always download the demo and try ) but there is other software (some free) plus what you already have can be used depending on the style you want and the time you want to invest in it
have a look and ask questions we are a friendly lot here !
