| Hi everyone I have just taken up photography again after an absence of about 15 years. I previously used a Bronica 645 and done all my processing in a home darkroom. I have had some success in exhibitions and I like to photograph anything. I got the urge again and bought myself an EOS 5D and 24-105L lens. I will add another couple of lenses if I get right back into it, but at the moment this seems to be a great combination to get started. At the moment I am trying to get my head around Photoshop having previously been a Cibachrome addict. I'm sure I will pick up loads of tips and trick on this forum. Oh how things have changed.            |

| Re: Hi everyone Welcome, Magoo... I'm probably among the few around here who rember the original Mr. Magoo cartoon and that Jim Backus supplied the voice. I'm only ahead of you by a few years in terms of making the film to digital transition. Indeed things have changed in so many ways -- many of them good. Welcome to RP. Hope you learn a lot and enjoy your transformation.  |
