I still need a mac OS X screen recorder, if you know of any? Free based, ideally

snapx pro is probably the best tool for recording your screen, but it isn't cheap...you could try this shareware application as it seems reasonably priced:

Pixel.. It's Snap-Z Pro. It's what I use for my videos and it works with Leopard. About $80
