Re: The Banksy Gallery

Some of his work is poignant, some fun, some is disturbing - thanks for the link. I wasn't familiar with his work before, although I think I've seen one or two in emails.

Re: The Banksy Gallery

you're welcome

you'd think more urban buildings would encourage and promote some of this for those bland old buildings in a downtown. in a world of 'look at me', especially in advertising, this would certainly draw the eye to your store/building.

Re: The Banksy Gallery

hehe, now isnt that interesting, palms

Bristol City Council said it wanted an investigation into the blunder. The council has ordered all Banksy works in the city to be preserved.
bravo!

But the Lazarides gallery in London, which sells his works, said it would have been wrong to place a value on the former Bristol mural as it might have tempted someone to remove it.

In November 2006, a gang of thieves dressed as council workmen attempted to steal a Banksy piece painted on the door of a derelict building in Liverpool.
lol. hadnt even thought of that side of things
