Hi, another new guy

hi from Vancouver Canada. My name is Cec Primeau, recently found this site and am really impressed, have been looking for this type of resource for some time. Have been into digital photography for about 5 years and in the last year have been really interested in converting photos to art. Have tried just about every tool out there. Pretty much continue to use PS CS3, Corel Painter X and really enjoy GMX Photopainter. Although pretty decent with PS have become a real filter junkie rather than a PS purist
Am hoping to learn and share lots, as i get closer to retirement am getting into Giclee printing as well (HP Z3100) and think photo art and amateur fine art reproduction would make for a great part-time home business.
