Re: What's your native language?

Heck, English is my language, but if pushed, I can ask for a beer in spanish..."Cervasa, por favor?"
I'm not presently working at retouching, but have a backgound in traditional photographic print and negative work, and some digital. I miss it tremendously and am thrilled to find this site!

Re: What's your native language?

Just english, languages never were my strong point.

I'm from Manchester, England. Where the weather is miserable 95% of the time, which gives me a good excuse to stay in on Photoshop.

Re: What's your native language?

"Mine is English, of course or "American", if you prefer"-!! you are actually are now thinking of re-naming the language?!

Doug, I'm forced to remember your over-patriotic slant ever since a post I made just after 9/11 many years ago, when I made a comment that in my opinion the most important thing to avoid would be reprisals, more serious in the long term than the event itself. I seem to remember you edited/censored this post for political reasons disguised as 'keeping the peice' which quite rightly made me furious because I hadn't said anything remotely controversial - with hindsight its now clearly possible to see how right I was too. Kept me away from this forum for about 3 years.

English is English - history unfortunately can't be re-written
