Doug, I'm forced to remember your over-patriotic slant ever since a post I made just after 9/11 many years ago, when I made a comment that in my opinion the most important thing to avoid would be reprisals, more serious in the long term than the event itself. I seem to remember you edited/censored this post for political reasons disguised as 'keeping the peice' which quite rightly made me furious because I hadn't said anything remotely controversial - with hindsight its now clearly possible to see how right I was too. Kept me away from this forum for about 3 years.
English is English - history unfortunately can't be re-written
