Funny thing in Finland is that we start studying Swedish in elementary school and English in elementary school even if Swedish is our second native language. Personally I think my English is better than my Swedish.

my native language is German. I grew up speaking English and German. My English was near native a few years ago, but I lost my ability as I haven't been speaking a word for two years, haven't watched any films in English since then and haven't read a book in English since then. I prefer the American English pronunciation, but as my father taught me British English it's a little mixed...

So no problems with reading in English and talking/writing, but it has been better...

Damn, need to get back to routine...

My native language is English, or American, as we say sometimes. But I wish my native language was french, because it is quite hard to learn, especially the pronunciation is very difficult. And if I was a native speaker, I wouldn't have to learn it, of course.
