Hello from new photographer on site

Hey People,

I been having a profile here for long without using it. That have to change :-)

I'm a fashion, beauty and glamour photographer based in Denmark. I do must of my own retouching, but I'm sometimes to busy to do it and therefore outsource it. But I'm always interested in staying on top of my game with new ways of retouching.
I'm shooting a lot of editorials and covers for magazines around the world.

Fashion & Beauty:

At the moment I got a small assignement from a news paper that wants me to shoot something in a classic Pin UP 50's style. Never really done that before I tried to finde some tutorials on the net, I found one which I really like, but the problem is applying it to any other images than the test images of the tutorial will not make it look good. Anyone got any good link to tutorial on something like that?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Jonas and welcome to RetouchPro!

Beautiful photography! You definitely know how to interpret the female figure, so I can't imagine you having any problems with Pin Up style... With your lighting, the rest is up to the makeup/hair artist and stylist!

Maybe I'm missing something here... Did the client ask you to convert the images to simulate "Vargas"? If so, I'd post an example of the result that you'd like to obtain in the Photo-Based Art forum, I'm sure someone will be able to help you out! Good luck!
