| | RonDon -- another coup with Jak's pucker!! Good job! DJ's chameleon-like avatar is great also. I'm definitely going to learn ImageReady (last night I got as far as looking at the Help index ) -- there is a learning curve, but it'll be fun once I get started up "the hill".
I'd also be interested in a thread on animation. |

| | Your animations are really good. I would like to know how to do that. Does anyone know of any good tutorial for PS7?
Thanks.

| | | Hi Sharon
as you may have read I know little about using ps7 (image ready) to animate with.... I'm used to animation shop... hope someone can point us at a good tutorial....
That said... I gave it a try last night....
If you don't know an animation is really just a slide show...
I haven't discovered how to put one together slide by slide within image ready yet ....
but there is another way that works......
first work on the individual shots in ps7...
one way is to bring up the pic you want to animate.... use "save as" to save it as the 1st frame in a new folder you create... an empty one...
I like to use letters.... a b c and so on..... numbers can make it more difficult past 9 ...
then ...modify the frame.... some....
then save thats as B
more modifying... then save as C..... and so on...
put nothing else in the file .... but the frames
2 or 3 frames is good to start
close all photos..
then go to image ready ( shift ctrl M ) or... file/jump to/image ready..
once there ...
file / import / folder as frames .... and locate the file with your work..
toward the bottom of the left tool bar there is a "preview document" icon .. (next to the e of explorer).... click that to view the animation... click it again to stop it.you have to stop it to edit the animation..
well ... hope that gets your foot in the door...
to save it ... use ... file / save optimized as for now... not in the same file though ... if you are going to make more alterations...
you'll see...
let me know if you get hung up...
have fun
RonDon |
