Newbie

Hi all, I'm John, from North Yorkshire UK.

My background is I used to work in a living museum taking "victorian" photos of the visitors. Obviously there was sometimes a bit of work needed doing on the photo's so I got used to doing that with whatever package we used then (ten years ago this was..).

Since then I've just enjoyed messing around altering pictures that I've come across on the net or whatever, useing Paint Shop Pro.

Anyhow...thats me!

Re: Newbie

John,

welcome and enjoy our little corner of the digital universe.
Please don't forget to show some of your work in the photography section of the forum.

We would love to learn what "tricks" you used in your Victorian photos.

10 years ago, did you shoot film or digital?
What was your work flow?

Re: Newbie

Hi Frank, to be honest I cant remember exactly what package we were useing way back when! Mainly any work we did involved cloning and a bit of shading. We were using digital, back in the day when digital was a novelty This is a pic my colleague took of me dressed in the uniform of the Kings Own Shropshire Light Infantry, just to give you an idea of the sorta thing we used to produce.
