First post - hi!

I have been having the best time reading here the past few evenings. All I can say is I wish I had found you a while back. I love photographs (used to be a photographer in an earlier part of my life). I love Photoshop. I love Painter. My kingdom to become totally and completely proficient, 100%... I can dream. Meanwhile I do okay but after reading some threads realize I have some room to go.

There's the down side of finding you I guess. In the past few years I would guess that I have tried to restore, retouch, fix a couple of hundred of old family photos and I thought I had done really well until I saw what some of you have done...so much for thinking I was so hot and humility strikes again as I took a new look at some of mine. Room from improvement I see.

Same with the Painter. I have already found some great tips and tried them and feel much better about what what I should be able to do now.

So thanks. I'm glad I found you and I hope to keep on learning and may just get brave enough to post some things for some feedback.
