Another old guy, new to forum...

The forum robot contacted me today and invited me to make a first post. I've been a member here for awhile but haven't posted anything... just used some tips I run across from time to time as I learn PS. Been a photographer for 36 years (fulltime for 32), digital for 10. Do mostly youth sports T&I photos (not action) but dabble in other types from time to time (wedding, portraits, Seniors) and enjoy learning new stuff that makes my work look better to my customers.

Operate a home based business in northeast Georgia about an hour from Atlanta (with 50% or more of my business in the metro area).

Just thought I'd drop in and say "Hi"...

Hi Neil...and thanks for popping in.

Your exactly the type of person I would like to hear from. I may have the knowledge and youth; but you have the experience of 32 years... I would like to hear some of your thoughts on lighting and tips you have come to pick up over the years.

I am always looking for old school knowledge... hope to learn a lot from you.

Before the 32 years fulltime photography, I worked for four years in a multidiscipline creative shop, first as a copywriter/photographer and then as manager of a corporate tv studio (training and corp info programming, mostly). Before that I was in college getting my BFA degree in photographic design.

I'll be glad to help out any way I can. I do spend a lot of time on another photography forum as a moderator, but I'll try to visit here as much as possible.
