Well, I've never heard of Maynard James Keenan, nor TOOL, but that doesn't mean anything -- I'm not in-touch with the latest. But welcome anyway, Yulineko -- from one newbie to another.

Well, i dont expect anyine to kniw who he is, nor to get into his music right away. It is just my personal preference, my type of music that inspires me a lot. he strucks those chords in me, you know? Although his lyrics might seem weird to people, he has a lot to say, and he is smarter than he seems. (you cant be dumb and study at West Point) Besides, he has a really good unique voice.
And hello to you, too.
I come with peace

Huh, I've got a phone with a querty keyboard -- and I'm all thumbs with the dang thing -- huh, pun intended, I guess. Which is to say, my accuracy sucks with it.

Yeah, most West Pointers are usually well endowed in the synapse department. There's a significant correlation between math skills and music composition skills, by the way. Makes sense to me.

I am thinking of geting samsung epic 4g, it has a keyboard perfect for my tiny fingers...

Math and music, eh? You just reminded me of one of my favourite episodes of Fringe.

Re: The RetouchPro Music Club

Thought you all would like this one. They actually played it for us during band rehearsal break last night. Beethoven all salsafide. lol

As a side note, if you see a weird looking instrument that looks like a cross between a trombone and Tuba, it is called a Cimbasso.

OMG! This is incredible, Beethoven meets salsa played by "Russian musicians", LOL
This is too much !!! And such a great quality on both, video and sound. Thanx for posting this Lyle.

PS. First time I see that instrument (Cimbasso)

You and me both. Of course we had one person who knew what it was (as she's a baritone player so it sort of makes sense that she knows). Still a strange looking concoction of an instrument.

Strange indeed, hehe...

I'm watching some other classical/salsa played by the same orchestra, Mozart and Bach. What really impress me is that they play with the real latin flavor, it doesn't sound technical, just the right flavor. Outstanding !!!

They are actually Norwegian.
